After struggling for years with my daughter’s behaviour it felt like we had hit a brick wall. None of the professionals were taking our concerns seriously and we were refused a place on the neurodevelopmental (ND) waiting list because school had no concerns. When I came across HKS I felt hopeful. From the first meeting with Bryher I felt my concerns were validated and I wasn’t just an “overanxious mum.” The assessment my daughter had was very comprehensive and helped us as a family to understand where her struggles were coming from. The support we have had from Nathalie and the team throughout the assessment and therapy sessions has been excellent. Thankfully with a copy of Nathalie’s report my daughter has been accepted on the ND waiting list regardless of schools opinion. My daughter has loved coming to the therapy sessions and Nathalie is so understanding of her needs and very patient with her. We have also had support with school meetings and other referrals. My daughter still has lots of struggles but I feel we are now better informed with how to help her and understand her needs better. Thank you so much to all the HKS team you are amazing!
