For the two years we’ve worked with Bryher; from start to finish we have felt validated. Our struggles and concerns with our child have never been down-played or dismissed, (as has often been our experience in school), but met with kindness, belief and understanding.
Our son has an ASD diagnosis and Bryher has a neurodiverse affirming approach in all her sessions – it has been wonderful to watch our son being so authentically himself with her, confident and dropping the mask! Our son has become very fond of Bryher and has been sad that his therapy block has come to an end.
Bryher’s assessment report was exceptionally detailed and enlightening for us and helped us to better understand the hidden picture of our child’s needs. Her treatment report was equally relevant at highlighting ongoing support needs. We’ve been provided with sensory strategies that have transformed some our son’s life experiences and improved our confidence as parents too.
Bryher’s advice, support and advocacy over these two years has helped to pave the way for him being finally given an IDP recently which, along with Bryher’s reports we can now hope will provide a robust support for planning for his transition to high school and beyond.
