Emma Holloway

Hi' I am Emma Holloway

Emma is deeply committed to a child-centred approach, working in close partnership with children, young people, their families, and carers to set meaningful, achievable goals that promote independence and participation. She takes pride in truly listening and understanding the unique needs of each child she supports. Her practice is grounded in a strengths-based philosophy, focusing on what each child can do. She celebrates their successes, big and small, to build confidence, resilience, and self-esteem. Emma uses affirming, inclusive language to foster acceptance and understanding, and works holistically to help children engage more fully in their everyday lives.

Emma is passionate about evidence-based practice and applies strong clinical reasoning to ensure her assessments and interventions lead to meaningful, measurable outcomes. She brings integrity, a positive attitude, and high levels of motivation to her work, consistently building trust and rapport with families and professionals alike. Achieving positive, lasting outcomes for the children and young people she supports is at the heart of everything she does.

Her practice spans a wide range of settings including the NHS, private clinics, mainstream schools, and specialist education environments.

She has extensive experience working with neurodiverse children and those with neurological conditions, providing tailored interventions that promote independence and engagement.

Emma is skilled in assessing and prescribing specialist equipment such as seating, beds, and aids for personal care tasks; ensuring children can participate fully in daily life with dignity and comfort.

Her clinical expertise includes working with children aged 3–18 who face challenges in:
• Sensory integration and processing
