Ceri Schlaudraff

Ceri is a caring and helpful Therapy Technician with extensive experience in working with children, young people and families.

Ceri has a BTEC National Diploma in Nursery Nursing, is a Level 3 Yoga Instructor, and has an Advanced Diploma in Nutrition and Sports Nutrition.

Ceri has experience of working in public and private sectors, with several years spent working as a Teaching Assistant, Nursery Nurse, and Occupational Therapy Technician. Ceri has worked as a Nursery Nurse in a school that specialised in working with children aged between 3-19 with a range of physical, sensory and additional complex needs, and latterly worked in a community equipment service.

Ceri now works for Helping Kids Shine Limited which is a therapy business based in Bridgend in South Wales, with a national reach across the United Kingdom.

Ceri’s main duties include supporting therapists to help children and young people to maximise their independence and to reach their functional goals, as well as assisting with postural management, supporting sensory differences, carrying out therapy programmes under the direction of a qualified therapist, and providing pastoral support to caregivers. Ceri also takes the lead with First Aid and holds Moving and Handler Train the Trainer qualifications.

Ceri has Associate membership with the Royal College of Occupational Therapists.
