I had spent a number of months researching the scientific basis (the evidence is growing) for primitive reflex integration therapy and was delighted to find that Vicky Butcher at helping kids shine was a qualified practitioner. Our son is eight years old and is autistic with ADHD, sensory processing differences and dyspraxia. He had always struggled with coordination, concentration, balance and running as compared to his peers and was on the 2nd centile for gross motor development when formally assessed. Under the expert guidance of Vicky we undertook an 11 week integration therapy treatment with 15 minutes of daily activities which successfully integrated his 4 retained primitive reflexes. He is now able to run confidently, is more coordinated, can sit for longer to undertake tasks at school and has improved levels of coordination and motor confidence. We are so grateful to Vicky for supporting our son to unlock his developmental potential. We would highly recommend the therapy to other families who are able to commit daily to supporting their child with the activities (it should be noted that the results and required therapy duration are likely to vary between children).
